Frostbite at Area 151 this year!

Frostbite at Area 151 this year!
New venue for this year’s Frostbite due to the early rise of Riffe Lake (Dog Patch LZ).  Our usual LZ will be under water, so lucky for us the Auman’s invited us to move the party on over to their place! (Area 151 is located just 13 minutes West of Morton).
They have a small 300’ foot hill and training hill on the property, and their property is also the LZ for Bremmer!  I think this might be one of the best bite’s ever.  (address and directions below)

Same date:  April 18th and 19th.

Please show your support by joining in the fun!

Additional Information:

The campground will start filling up on Friday night, but we have a lot of room on our property whether you have a pup tent or a big ass RV. We are waving our regular $20/day use fee so that all of the proceeds can go to The CBCC. Their fee is $30.00/person for a weekend of camping and dinner and drinks on Saturday night. CBCC will be supplying the meat for the meal and kegs of beer, and everyone is encouraged to bring their best potluck dish. Conrad who owns our favorite local watering hole (The Bucksnort Pub)wants to show his appreciation for all the pilot patronage by bringing his portable bar that will be stocked with some popular mixed drinks. Pilots are welcome to add to this stock with their own favorites if they want a "Pro" mixing for them. Diana and I are considering paying for a band to play on our 30 foot Military Tractor Trailer Stage, like we did for our charity Fly-in that we hosted here last August and would welcome your input on that decision. If we get a positive response on this matter, we will make sure that we allow a slot later in the evening for our always very entertaining pilot musicians. Let us know what you think. The dinner and the party and the music are always a great time, but we should also remember that this is the The Frostbite Festival that raises money for a great cause and allows all of us pilots to get together, share all of our stories and kick off this years great flying season. Hope to see you all here, Dave.
