Welcome to the Cloudbase Country Club

The Cloudbase Country Club (CBCC) is a community of hang glider pilots pursuing our sport in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We have many wonderful flying sites located across western and eastern Washington. Through regularly scheduled meetings and seasonal fly-ins, CBCC pilots gather together to promote our sport, help newcomers, protect flying sites and seek to open new ones. If you are interested in learning to fly hang gliders, please contact us. The CBCC will put you in touch with USHPA-certified instructors who can safely teach you to fly through a carefully structured program of ground school, training hill and tandem flights.
